Subaru WRX STi Carbon Fiber Restore

The story:

This job came by way of a friend. He wanted to do something nice for his brother for his birthday. The thing was that his brother was didn't live in the area, and it was going to be a little tricky for us to meet up. Luckily, he was in town to celebrate his birthday with his parents. I got a text from my friend early in the morning asking if I could come by (last minute) and take care of the hood as well as enjoy lunch with them. Unfortunately, I made other arrangements that afternoon, however, I was able to come by and get the job done.

The hood was oxidized all over the place. Mainly around the edges. I was told that hasn't been waxed for awhile. In addition, I noticed these weird white stains. I'll let you use your imaginations on what I thought they looked like.

After a bit of work, I was able to remove the imperfections. The stains being more difficult than the oxidation.I must say, my friend's brother was super happy. They were telling me they were about to put on the stock hood and sell this thing off, but after seeing the result, they changed their minds!

Damage/fading behind the scoop

Damage on the edges of the hood and random white stains...

All fixed!!

Final Product

Gloss and shine restored. No more random oxidation and stains!!
